An afternoon of art with the Downey Care Center

Look at the beautiful sunny weather that has just arrived in Southern California over the weekend! In a typical farewell to clearly defined seasons, we have somehow managed to merge into summer like weather at the end of January.

These were perfect weather conditions to plan a day trip into Downey, to host a complementary art class for the senior residents at Downey Care Center. A-1 Home Care loves to meet the diverse and fascinating members of our community, and we got the chance to do this with our half yearly hosted art sessions.

So many people gather around to participate in our bookmark making class. We provided colored papers, patterned markers, glitter stickers and bright yarn for the tasseled gifts.
